After years of experience as a Chief Estimator for general contractors, Cary spent 13 years as Chief Estimator for Westfield and Macerich. Cary Stump Cost Consulting clients have been Macerich, Taubman, PREIT, Howard Hughes, and Kimco as well as smaller Owner/Developers of shopping centers.

Project responsibility has been for projects from $1 million to $500 million, both retail and mixed-use. Estimates include both hard costs and soft costs. Many estimates are from preliminary work letters, lease outline drawings, or sketches to help the Owner/Developer decide how to structure a deal. When projects proceed services include helping to keep the project on schedule and on budget during the design phase. Cary has created estimating software specific to retail and mixed-use that facilitates creating reliable estimates quickly.
